Taking part in an exhibition IN YOUR FACE 2.0 with my work Protean (a self-portrait with many faces).
The group exhibition focuses on female artists and draws attention to the position and visibility of women in the arts field. Through self-portraits, we literally give ourselves a face.

Love Bird workshop
Do you want to learn embroider beautiful love birds? Come in the May vacation to the Wereldmuseum Rotterdam.
I have developed the workshop based on Belarusian tradition of embroidered ritual towels (rushniks). We will be embroidering with cross-stitch, it’s super relaxing and beginner friendly.
The workshop will be conducted in the Atelier of the museum and is completely free with the museum entrance card. Come embroider beautiful birds together. I myself will be there on April 29 and May 01 and 04. On other days my colleagues will be helping you. Hope to see you there!
Rooting Point
The project “Rooting Point” aims to attract the attention of a wider audience to the culture of Belarus and strategies to preserve your own identity far away from home. It is a collaboration of 3 artists with Belarusian origin, each of whom is rediscovering her roots in her own way, in connection with immigration, the unprecedented repressions in Belarus itself, and the war in neighbouring Ukraine.
Lena Davidovich, Julia Mekes and Tasha Arlova address the matter through different media and visual languages with the intention to support the Belarusian culture and identity.
The exhibition will be open in Arti et Amicitiae from July 10 to July 21.

VyZyvanka. The Ritual Towel

The opening of the exhibition VyŽyvanka. The Ritual Towel will take place in Belarusian Solidarity Center in Warsaw November 25 at 19:00.
November 26 at 15:00 I will conduct a workshop for teenagers on the meaning and usage of geometric symbols.
